Unforgettable concert of Max Emanuel Cencic promoted „ Music gallery Gvozdanovic 2011“, project with whom museum for art and craft in collaboration with Croatian radio and television and Zagreb city and city institution for education, culture and sport wanted to encourage complete renovation of unique upper-town palace Gvozdanovic.

Circles of concerts „music salon Gvozdanovic 2011“started on 13. March with unforgettable, impressive concert of countertenor Max Emanuel Cencic and piano player Gary Matthewmann in palace Gvozdanovic (Visoka 8). Musicians performed 14 songs of Franz Schubert (1797. – 1828.), composed in his last year of life on versification of Johann Gabriel Seidl, Ludwig Rellstab and Heinrich Heine, and that pert is known as „ Swan-song“ (schwanengesang D.957). All visitors were delighted with sound of Bosendorfer piano that give company Euro-Unit, and who for this occasion must transported with crane. Piano player Gary Matthewman didn’t hide pleasure with this great instrument and with his characteristics and mentioned that all effort about his entry over the balcony with crane hears with first tones of composition.

Before concert starts Miroslav Gasparovic, conductor of Museum for art and craftsmanship said few words to guests remembering them that are about starting of cultural-art project with whom MUO wants to encourage reputable companies and people to help with donation on renovation of the palace and their opening to public. Project is organized in collaboration with Croatian Radio television and with support of Zagreb city and City office for education, culture and sport.

On concert at palace Gvozdanovic with Milan Bandic city major of Zagreb, ambassadors and wit reputable businessman’s, on concert also been present cultural workers and journalists. After concert guests make a round and view unique upper town palace Gvozdanovic that museum for art and craftsmanship want as soon as possible to promote as museum and complete and attractive collection open for public.

Weight of cycles of donation concerts at music salon Gvozdanovic 2011 is in that gave possibility of gathering socially responsible people, representatives of companies and institutions in space of unique object of Zagreb cultural heritage in renovation where they can help. Max Emanuel Cencic performed free of charge, and he mentioned that importance of project is not only in renovation of palace but also in conscious of cultural gathering Zagreb and rest of the world what is very important in moment when Croatia goes in EU.

Organized Vesna Juric Bulatovic assistant of conductor of MUO and leader of the project Zlatko Madzar art leader, make announcement that until end of the year in the part of Music gallery Gvozdanovic will also perform free of charge reputable musicians with great international career – piano Martina Filjak, mezzo-soprano Renata Pokupic, cello player Monika Leskovar and guitar player Petrit Geku. Expectations are that through the circles of the concert will be collected money that is necessary for the further renovation of palace Gvozdanovic. Euro-Unit will retain these circles of donation concerts with their top instruments and support how we can encircle this unique cultural event.
