This year host for „Mitteleuropa Blasmusikfest 2011" was Split city in organization of „Srednjoeuropske akcije – Udruge za kulturnu suradnju zemalja Srednje Europe" and sponsor for music was company „Euro-Unit with their partner Yamaha and with Istanbul Mehmet who prepared awards for the winners.

Aim of the festival was establishing international connection of bras orchestras and promotion and work on the brass music and aiming of quality in amateur work of orchestras in global. Festival was competitive and orchestras where in 3 categories (A, B, C). Members of the festival have been brass orchestras from middle European states: Germany, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.

All orchestras show high level of music skills through official and unofficial programs that was a great challenge for the jury.

Although the event is held only now second year in row, already has its audience, social support and quality of bands that have emerged as their number certainly confirms thataroused interest among them.A category .
